churches aren’t the only place that wants your money, bible schools do too! Hmmmmmmm weird
So they can get their degree in theology, which makes them certified to lie to people for money.
Today they are teaching away from the true word of God. Your question is a good one.
The bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved. And a big part of a hebrews boy youth was spent in study of the Torah
you do live in this world and education is so prevalent ….. why are you being so critical about ppl wanting to help ppl
Well, see, although they get theirknowledge of the Word from God, they need to learn math elsewhere, so that they can continue to earn a profit, much like this priest:
Selling coke out of the rectory. Nice….
Well obviously religion is a business and you wouldn’t want to run a business without knowing what you’re doing would you.
shorter question: who needs an educated clergy?
*rolls eyes*
preachers should be rounded with an education but bible college? Nah. God still anoints His prophets/teachers/pastors
Actually Jesus did study for years in the synagogues. Its a good idea to have knowledge of what it is you are trying to teach about.
Excellent Question, it is because you first need to be indoctrinated by the Lies and Deceits by the controlling world church leaders, before they can trust to give you a position within THERE churches, ie control and Damage limitation, the same as in the time of the Sadducee’s and Pharisees where they could not even stand for God to be amongst them in the form of Jesus.
Good question! Some of the best preachers I know have never been to Bible College.
All a person needs to be knowledgeable about the Bible is to study it with the help of the Holy Spirit. Having the ability to “preach” is another thing.. When God calls a man to preach he has or will have the ability… He will also have wisdom which comes from God Himself.
Not every student of the Bible is called to be a preacher, but every preacher is called to be a student of the Bible.
It’s very unfortunate today that many people are flocking to “churches” where the Pastor may say words that “tickle their ears” but are not hearing the Word of God.
The Spirit of God can only do His work when the Word of God is preached or read. A blatant example of a popular preacher with no message from God is Joel Osteen.. Which makes the point that being a popular “preacher” doesn’t mean you’re a “vessel” of God. Anyway.. I’ve probably rambled on enough about this…
Schools for preachers are a jesuit invention. The jesuits have infiltrated all churches to be able to control them from the inside. Going to a jesuit-based bible college (the jesuits are behind ALL bible colleges, believe it or not) along with incorporating the church as a charitable organization are the methods they use to make sure all churches do everything according to the rules of the vatican. The vatican controls all governments of the world and the governments of the world control the churches. Incorporated churches don’t preach the whole truth in exchange for tax breaks.
Anybody who (at present) goes to a bible college to become a pastor is ignorant of the jesuit infiltration and thinks everything is ok and doesn’t know he will be working for the vatican and not for God. All incorporated churches answer to the Vatican and the low-level pastors who preach in them don’t know what they’re doing.
To Him who sits on the throne and to the lamb be all honor and glory and praise for ever and ever. Jesus is Lord.
Each those Jewish boys who grew up to become disciples/apostles had been educated in the only scriptures there were at the the time. In addition, Jesus spent three years educating them during His earthly ministry including those days after His resurrection. (Three years of daily intense training with the Son of God, seems to be quite and education.) Jesus told the disciples, “first to the Jews” because, like them, already knew God and believed Him and knew the laws and traditions.
Today, there are MANY who have been ordained by God and received gifts and talents (AND favor) in ways of delivering God’s word; however, there are some who still need to be educated formally and still those who WANT to receive a formal Bible education. There are also those who will be going into different cultures to minister (world evangelism or missions) who will need to be able to reach those who have NOT heard the gospel in a way that they can understand.
There are also those who will be trained to teach others… This is no different than it was in the early church before and after Jesus’ earthly ministry.
I will tell you also that there are many in Christ who have been ordained and equipped by God to do all that Jesus commanded HOWEVER, people–yes, people in the church, will not accept them or their preaching, teaching, pastoral gifts, evangelistic gifts without “a piece of paper” that certifies them as “good to go.”
All spoken from the pulpit should be the delivered word of God. That is not always the case and there are many who have those “required” credentials and are not delivering much more than repetitions and their own agendas. Yes, unfortunately there ARE some who speak solely because of the money, power, influence, prestige–one or more reasons–maybe all those listed and then some. People will be people. And I must say that I’ve heard a few in ministry speaking that seemed more like used car salesmen than men of God but I have also heard those who spoke nothing BUT the delivered message from God. WE are supposed to study to know the difference and use discernment.
How do they retired? That depends. Many have other means of support than full-time ministry. (Still doubting strongly that this is what God wanted for the local church. Many equate this to those who have an apostolic passion and/or calling to GO… Those people, YES, should do as Paul (tentmakers–having their own means of support) because this is by faith and not depending on the people whom they are sent (by God) to give the Gospel. It also shows the people that God does provide.
Back to retirement: For many that serve a local church, they are compensated for the valuable messages of God that they deliver by a congregation who is obedient to God’s word in tithing and offering. I suppose they put back as other “self-employed” people into retirement accounts. They DO deserve that security. Others have to do a “part-time” ministry/pastoral duties and work regular jobs that offer retirement programs–especially those who serve in locations that are not economically strong and/or have very small congregations.
*** To your original question of WHY… Each of us has a ministry but ALL of us are not geared to deliver the gospel to EVERYONE in a way that they can truly understand (especially if they’ve never heard it before)… I see it online and offline often–leaving those hearing the messages QUITE confused and/or offended by a misdelivered message from a “jack of all trades.” — Remember we ARE all members of the same body of Christ but a toe is designed to be a toe and a finger designed to be a finger. We can “make it work” but that’s not quite what God had in mind… Any shepherd is taught how to do the job properly; a fisherman is taught how to cast nets and when and where; etc.
Note: “To minister does not mean to be a preacher or a pastor. It means to serve and this is what EVERY believer is to do. Which is why I said above we ALL have a ministry. We just can ALL be in the same lane… The gospel can be delivered by anyone but not the same way to everyone. (See Acts 15)
The Bible mentions those who are not willing to be taught and/or corrected… I’ll leave it at that. (…and come back later to see how many thumbs down this time.

1 John 2:27
27As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
Many Pastors from the Word International Ministries didn’t go to Bible School, they were called from God. They tested the spirit to see if the calling was a true calling from God. If it’s not from God, then that’s how cults start. Founders of cults are money, power, respect hungry. I’ve been to many big churches and heard many pastors. They are knowledgeable when it comes to the bible. But I can’t judge just by that. I have to know the history of where they are coming from. If anything they teach contradicts the Bible then I would say get out of that church. It could be a cult. But lots of my friends that I took to church who’s never gone there before, felt the Holy Spirit when we praise and worship and especially when Pastor Vino spoke the word of God. It’s like every week, he talks about situations that’s relevant to our lives. we go thourgh different situations but the Holy Spirit always manages to use him as a vessel and pin point our problems, issue, or concerns and helps us overcome. It’s amazing. My Pastor told me that if its a true calling from God, then you don’t need Bible school.
God Bless
AMEN!!!
