i need some major help. i’m planning on my future & i want to be able to save some money for retirement?

i’m 27 yrs old. i live in the virginia area. i have no kids. i ‘m nt married. i’m working 2 jobs so that i can have survive. i plan on going to school in the fall of 2008. what i want to do is drop one of the jobs & probably try to get a 2nd job working from home on the internet. can that be done? i know in the past my budgeting skills weren’t always the best but i’m getting my life together & i want to be successful & be happy. does anyone suggest getting an CD’S OR MONEY MARKET accts? how about mutual funds? i just need some advice. i don’t want to be working for the rest of my life.
